Kepstan® PEKK should be stored in a desiccated environment. Drying conditions: 110-120°C for 4-6 hours, or 2-4 hours under vacuum. Under most processing conditions, Filaments made from Kepstan® PEKK resins will produce amorphous parts. These parts may be crystallized in a simple post-process heat treatment to achieve the ultimate in high temperature and chemical resistance. It is also possible to directly produce semicrystalline parts by employing high temperature build environments.
